2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic To Be Available In 7 & 9 Seater Option; Variants Leaked

Mahindra is all set to launch Scorpio N on June 27, 2022, and along with this, the Indian carmaker might introduce the Scorpio Classic too. While the N version is based on a completely new platform, the Classic is the same as before but with some changes. Ahead of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic launch, several details like the powertrain, seating configurations and trims have been leaked.

Powering the Scorpio Classic N will be a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine. This is the same unit that will be seen on the lower trims of the upcoming Scorpio N. It generates 130 hp of power and this engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission only.

The Scorpio N Classic will be made available in two trims - S3+ and S11, both of which will be available in seven and nine-seat seat layouts. Other trims like S5, S7 and S9 will now be phased out. The wheelbase of the Scorpio Classic sticks to 2,680 mmm.
