The RZ 450e will be powered by the same dual-motor powertrain, also found on the Toyota bZ4x.
Lexus is on the verge of launching the RZ 450e, a fully electric vehicle. But before its official launch, the company released a teaser shot of the rear fascia and side of the car. The official spec sheet will be disclosed by the end of this month. Despite multiple changes, it's Toyota bz4X AND the Subaru Solterra underpinnings are clearly visible in the Lexus RZ 450e.
However, aside from looking posher and more upscale, than both the Toyota and Subaru, the Lexus RZ 450e will also get a dramatic exterior appearance, especially with its grille design. Besides, Lexuss striking headlights remain the same, but the RZ 450e it feels more futuristic. The sharp-edged headlights in this EV touch the centre section of the front fascia.

As for the interior is concerned, a couple of teaser photos released earlier showcased the yoke-style steering wheel. This steering wheel design can also be seen in Tesla Model S Plaid variants. Further expected standout features inside the RZ 450e include a huge infotainment screen and centre console on the dashboard. The cabin is covered in exclusive materials, just like the dashboard and the instrument cluster.
The dual-motor powertrain from the Toyota bz4X is capable of producing 215 hp of peak torque power. This will be the first model from Lexus which will be a fully electric vehicle. However, when it comes to the Indian market, the President of Lexus India, Mr. Naveen Soni, noted that the company is evaluating the model UX to become a fully electric vehicle.

They are currently ascertaining its performance, especially in the context of Indian climate conditions. These trials are taking into count the effect of heat and pollution on the batteries, and how that affects the performance of these EVs.
In the future, the company is also looking to launch the LX, and in the next two months, the company will also open three more experience centres in Chandigarh, Chennai, and Cochin. This brings up the total count to seven Lexus ECs in India.
