The Honda CB750 Hornet is one of the two bombshells dropped by the Japanese bikemaker today, thus further filling up Honda's premium motorcycle catalogue in the country. Bookings for the CB750 Hornet have commenced, and deliveries will begin from June 2025 onwards.

2025 Honda CB750 Hornet Launched; Details

The CB750 Hornet also gets a streetfighter design, much like its big brother, the CB1000 Hornet. It comes with a sharp silhouette and aggressive tank shrouds, giving it a muscular stance. There will be two colour options; Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic.

Underneath the streetfighter design, the CB750 Hornet shares its powertrain with the XL750 Transalp; a 755cc, twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, producing 90.5bhp at 9500rpm and 75Nm of torque at 7250rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and an optional quickshifter.

Built on a diamond steel frame, the motorcycle hangs off of 41mm Showa SFF big piston forks up front, along with a monoshock and a prolink swingarm at the rear. In terms of braking, it gets 296mm twin discs with a with a radially-mounted four-piston Nissin calliper up front, along with a 240mm disc with a Nissin calliper at the rear. Given its road-focused usage, th CB750 Hornet rides on 17-inch wheels on both ends.

Some of the features on offer include a 5-inch TFT with RoadSync connectivity, smartphone connectvity, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts and music streaming. Some other things include four riding modes and traction control.

Verdict
The CB750 Hornet does not really have any direct competition, but the Kawasaki Z650 can be considered a close rival. The CB750 Hornet is among the four new motorcycles that Honda has launched in less than two weeks, which proves that the bikemaker is on a roll!
