The 2025 XL750 Transalp gets a refreshed look with a redesigned headlamp that makes it look slightly different. The rest of the bike, however, is not all that different and it remains a familiar-looking motorcycle. It continues without the typical ADV beak, just like the outgoing motorcycle. While the Ross White paint scheme has been retained, the Matte Ballistic Black has been replaced by a new Graphite Black paint scheme.

It retains the 755cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled powertrain producing 90.5bhp at 9500rpm and 75Nm of torque at 7250rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox and running on a ride-by-wire system. Built on a steel-diamond frame, the XL750 Transalp retains the 43mm Showa semi-function USD forks and a Pro-link monoshock. It also continues to ride on a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear wheel with tubeless spoke rims, and for braking it deploys 310 mm front twin-discs with hydraulic dual-piston callipers, and a 256 mm rear disc with single-piston calliper, further assisted by dual-channel ABS.

In terms of features, the XL750 Transalp retains the 5-inch TFT screen with optical bonding, a customizable display, and smartphone connectivity via Honda RoadSync, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, music streaming, voice commands, and call/SMS alerts. The bike also retains the emergency stop signal function and self-cancelling turn-indicators.

With the BMW F 850 GS and the Triumph Tiger 850 gone long ago, the 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp will go up solely against the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE, which was also updated recently.

Verdict

Honda's launch spree has certainly not ended yet, with the bikemaker updating its middleweight ADV. The update itself is rather subtle, but Honda has done it to make sure it stays relevant, and the bike itself is very capable over a wide range of conditions.
