TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP- New Blaze Blue Colour, Coloured LCD Cluster, & More

TVS Ntorq series is known for its nimble performance, and the TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP adds to the sporty allure with its race livery and a stronger engineine output. Painted in a mix of shades of black, grey, and blue, with red alloys, the new Blaze Blue colour looks appealing and adds a refreshing touch to the scooter. Apart from this, the cosmetics have been retained just as they are with no beating to the sheet metal. It continues to get a sharp and butch front profile, with chest-mounted LED headlamps integrated with T-shaped LED DRLs, with the indicators fixed on the handlebar. The seat is a single-piece unit with the rear profile getting an upswept, sharper look to complement its design philosophy.

The latest shade for the Ntorq Race XP now comes paired with a colour LCD instrument cluster, adding a dash of vibrancy to the ride. While the screen itself isn't entirely new, having already been seen on the TVS Raider 125, it offers the same set of functions available on the standard Ntorq 125 variants. No additional features have been introduced, but this coloured display is expected to make its way across other Race XP paint options as well, and not be exclusive to the Blaze Blue.
TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP Powerplant: More Torquier Than Before

The Ntorq 125 continues with its familiar 124.8cc, 3-valve, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine, producing 7.5 kW of power. What's new is a bump in torque, which now stands at 11.5 Nm, up from the earlier 10.8 Nm. This improvement comes courtesy of the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), a system that not only enables silent starts but also lends a helping hand during low-speed acceleration. TVS has already employed this tech on models like the Jupiter, Raider 125, and Ntorq 150, and is now available with the Ntorq 125 as well. Beyond this, the scooter stays mechanically identical, retaining its telescopic fork, rear monoshock, and braking setup of a front disc and rear drum.
As for its pricing, it retains its original ex-showroom price at Rs. 1,00,417 as other paint schemes and continues to rival the likes of Hero Xoom 125, Suzuki Burgman Street 125, and others.
Verdict
This new update of the Ntorq 125 not only brings cosmetic changes, but also focuses more on the rider feel. The colour LCD panel looks better and is more intuitive, it is the extra torque, which will elate the buyers who are looking for a bit of more performance from their daily commuter scooter. However, the retention of the price tag is what sweetens the deal even more, and you will see this dropping down even further once the GST 2.0 tax cuts take effect from September 22.
