BMW Motorrad India has finally launched the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure at a sticker price of Rs 12.50 lakh and Rs 13.25 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi respectively. The deliveries for the same will begin in June and the dealerships have started accepting bookings for these bikes.
Mechanically, both the bikes are powered with an 853cc, two-cylinder, liquid-cooled 4-valve petrol motor. This unit generates as much as 95 hp of power at 8,250 RPM with a peak torque of 92 Nm at 6,250 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Both the models are equipped with rain and riding modes along with pro mode that constitutes - dynamic and enduro mode. Safety features on BMW F 850 GS and F 850 GSA include ABS, automatic stability control, dynamic traction control and more. The Dynamic ESA opens up a new dimension of rider's safety, performance and comfort.

Feature-wise, both models get a 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display, BMW Motorrad multi-controller that gives the ride quick access to vehicle and connectivity functions, a USB charge port and more. BMW Motorrad India is also providing a comprehensive range of equipment and accessories for both the bikes from their dealership.

BMW F 850 GS is offered in Racing Blue Metallic colour with golden metallic rims while the F 850 GSA gets Black Strom metallic and Kalamata metallic matte. The company is providing a standard warranty of 3 years/ unlimited km on both motorcycles. This warranty package is extendable to fourth and fifth years also.
