BSA Scrambler 650
This bike being a 650cc means this isn't for a new riders as it requires a bit experience to handle such heavy machines. Plus, it weighs 221 kg, so another reason to justify my point. Talking about its design - it blends classic British styling cues with contemporary engineering. Positioned as a versatile road-biased scrambler, it aims to appeal to riders seeking both everyday usability and light off-road capability, as the ground clearance is limited to 187 mm.
Engine and Performance - BSA Scrambler 650

At its core sits a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with DOHC and twin spark plugs. It produces 45 hp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm at 4,000 rpm, ensuring strong low-end torque. The motor is paired with electronic fuel injection, delivering smooth throttle response and refined performance for both city and highway use. Gearbox is a 5-speed constant mesh.
Talking about braking, both wheels are equipped with Brembo components, featuring a 320 mm front disc and a 255 mm rear disc. Both ends come with ABS for added safety.
Wheels

The Scrambler rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination, fitted with CEAT tube-type tyres sized 110/80 (front) and 150/70 (rear), offering good stability and grip on mixed surfaces. Suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm telescopic front fork with 138 mm of travel, while the rear gets twin shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload and 127 mm of travel, ensuring a balanced ride across varying conditions.
Features
The bike gets a digital speedometer for essential ride information. Lighting duties are handled by an LED headlamp and LED tail lamp, ensuring good visibility and a modern touch. Overall, the features aren't extensive, but they are aligned with its classic character.
Lastly, customers can choose from three colours: Raven Black, Victor Yellow, and Thunder Grey.
- Raven Black - Rs 3,24,950
- Victor Yellow - Rs 3,32,950
- Thunder Grey - Rs 3,40,950
Verdict
The BSA Scrambler 650 may feel a bit expensive for what it offers, especially in terms of features, but it makes up for it with strong road presence and distinctive styling. It's a great pick for riders who want something different and are keen to stand apart from the crowd.
