Hero Motocorp is a market leader in the commuter motorbike category in India, and Splendor has dominated the under 100cc commuter market for a very long time. Millions of Hero Splendor motorcycles have already been sold in India. The Splendor awakens nostalgia and brings back memories for those who were born in the 90s. The motorcycle has been after three decades, Hero has made the features to its best-selling commuter motorbike, the Splendor+ called the Splendor+ Xtec. The company has recently unveiled the Splendor+ Xtec model, which has several brand-new features and some segment-leading features. Here is our first ride review of the Splendor+ Xtec motorcycle.

The Hero Splendor+ Xtec comes with a similar silhouette but gets some minor aesthetic changes. Now, it gets an LED DRL above the headlight, and new colour tones. With an overall blacked-out treatment, the iconic design of Splendor remains the same. The new model comes with black alloy wheels, chrome exhaust, stylish graphics, and a comfortable seat. The Xtec variant is an effort from Hero to keep the stakes high for the Splendor bike. It gets telescopic front forks and dual springs at the back.

The new instrument cluster now has a Bluetooth connection, which allows it to display call and message warnings. Additionally, this gets a real-time mileage monitor, which is pretty useful. Riders can now charge their phones while traveling with the Splendor+ Xtec thanks to the addition of mobile charging port. The lighting in the motorcycle is still the same traditional halogen units.
