Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Powertrain
Powering the new Ninja 1100SX is a larger 1099cc motor which has replaced the previously available 1043cc engine. This update has resulted in a longer stroke which is now 77mm x 59mm. Even with a bigger engine, the new 1100SX makes 4 bhp and 2 Nm less than its predecessor. To be specific, the power figures remain less in the rev range, providing smooth performance. Apart from this, the manufacturer has elongated the 5th and 6th gear to make it easy for riders to cover distances.
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Hardware
Hardware-wise, the Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX will get a bi-directional quick-shifter. This mechanical update is intended to provide better low-end performance and improved fuel efficiency. Additionally, the bike rides on the new S23 compound tyres.
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Features
The all-new Ninja 1100SX gets a similar set of features as the Ninja 1000SX. It gets the same electronics which include power modes, ride modes, ABS, electronic cruise control, traction control and bi-directional quick-shifter. A new addition is a new handlebar-mounted USB-C charging port.
Price Comparison
The all-new Ninja 1100SX is expected to be pretty much costlier than its predecessor. The quantum of price increase can range from 75,000 to 1 lakh. For context, the previously available Ninja 1000SX was priced at Rs. 12.19 lakh (ex-showroom). For now, the company will be launching only standard trim in India.
