Today marks a very special day, as in India, Lamborghini has launched the successor of Huracan, called Temerario, at Rs 6 Cr. This, as you all know, will take forward the legacy of Gallardo, with a new heart of 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8 mated to three electric motors, which makes it a P-HEV car, the third Lambo to get this system. That said, the power this mid-size supercar produces is 907 bhp and 730 Nm of torque, sending it to all four wheels via 8-speed DCT. Result: 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 343 km/h. The climate change is real, and it is affecting everyone one around. Governments around the world are pushing all automakers to go fully electric or be ready to pay millions of dollars in taxes, which is why this Italian manufacturer had to put a full stop to its V10 naturally aspirated engine, which we saw in the Gallardo and the Huracan. Now, the Temerario features a 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8, which Lamborghini says its a brand new engine - and the power figures are just through the roof - 907 bhp and 730 Nm of toruqe. Out of those all horses - 800 bhp is derived from engine and 107 bhp from three lithium ion batteries. Moreover, this sports car can rev up to 10,000 RPM, and has a top speed of 343 km. Truly, standing to its name - Temerario, an Italian word for Reckless.

Featuring 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear from Bridgestone Potenza, its rear profile clearly shows the width of these, as they are totally exposed. Like every other Lambo car, this one too has hexagon-shaped elements all over its body.

Interior

The interior is kept completely the same as its bigger brother - Revuelto - featuring a total of 3 screens inside. One for the driver, one vertical screen to handle infotainment duties and more, and the last one is a thick slate running across the passenger side, displaying details like speed, current gear, and more. Apart from this, there are 13 driving modes, which can be selected via rotors on the steering wheel - Citta, Strada, Sport, Crosa, and Crosa PLUS. Furthermore, by pressing the "Checkered flag" button for two seconds, Launch Control is activated to exploit the maximum potential when starting from a standing start.

Verdict

Lamborghini Temerario is here - and Huracan is gone forever. This car has big shoes to fill, as the Huracan took the automotive industry by storm and is considered one of the ultimate driving machines. The naturally aspirated engine is gone; however, the power derived from electric motors and ICE is way too much - 907 bhp. That said, just talking about this brand, Lamborghini is sold out in India till 2027, as all their models have been booked. Apart from Temerario, they wont take any more orders - so yes, there is a 99% possibility that this supercar too will become a success.
