Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero Capsule

Now, I googled the meaning of this word - Tettonero - and the results gave a clear picture of the car, as this Italian word means "black roof," while "Capsule" is a Lamborghini term for exclusivity. So, this whole thing means a unique colour combination that sets it apart from the rest of the Urus variants, and only 630 of them will be built.

What makes the Urus SE "Tettonero" Capsule special is its strong focus on customization and exclusivity. Buyers can choose from over 70 combinations, including exterior colours with special liveries, interior themes, brake caliper finishes, and wheel designs ranging from 21 to 23 inches, ensuring that no two cars need to look the same.

The design stands out with its distinctive dual-tone treatment, featuring Nero Shiny black on the roof and upper body, along with new colour options introduced for the Urus. It also offers optional carbon fibre elements on the exterior - such as the diffuser, mirrors, and splitter - and inside the cabin, including the dashboard, doors, and centre console.

A special "63" logo further highlights its heritage, referencing Lamborghini's founding year, 1963. Inside, the cabin follows a black (Nero Ade) theme accented by bright contrast colours, and uses premium materials like leather, Corsa-Tex microfiber, and carbon fibre trims. Extensive personalization extends down to fine details like stitching and embroidery, making each unit uniquely tailored.

Engine

he engine specifications are the same as the Urus SE - a plug-in hybrid setup with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 connected to a 25.9 kWh battery pack, which is quite large. It produces a combined output of 800 hp and 950 Nm of torque, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 312 km/h.

Plus, being a PHEV, this car can run purely on electric power for up to 60 km, and that too with a four-wheel-drive setup. That's impressive, as most PHEVs, when running in EV mode, typically send power only to the front wheels.

The Urus SE Tettonero Capsule offers six body paint options - Arancio Xanto, Bianco Asopo, Grigio Telesto, Viola Pasifae, along with first-time shades like Giallo Tenerife and Verde Mercurius - paired with a distinctive Nero Shiny finish across the upper body, roof, pillars, spoiler, and exhaust tips. This is further complemented by six exclusive livery colours, including Arancio Borealis, Bianco Monocerus, Giallo Auge, Grigio Nimbus, Rosso Mars, and Verde Mantis. Together, these combinations significantly expand the visual appeal of the SUV, enabling over 70 unique configurations and making it one of the most customizable offerings in the segment.
