Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG New Variant

The Maruti Baleno CNG Delta and Zeta variant comes with a decent array of features but the CNG lineup still misses the features that the regular petrol variants get. The brand might be bringing the new top-of-the-line variant to enhance the feature offering of the Baleno CNG lineup.

On the features front, the Alpha variant of the Baleno petrol comes with a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 9-inch touchscreen, HUD, and cruise control among other features. "With the introduction of the Alpha variant in CNG trim, these features will be included in the CNG lineup as well.

If we talk about the engine specifications, the Maruti Baleno CNG comes with a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol+CNG engine producing 76 bhp and 98 Nm of peak torque. This comes mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The brand has not yet revealed the timeline for the launch of the Alpha variant in the CNG lineup, but we can expect it to be launched in the coming weeks. The price is anticipated to be Rs 70,000 to Rs 1 lakh higher than the Zeta variant.
