Mini Cooper Prices Reduced; Details

The Mini Cooper is available in four different variants; Essential Pack, Classic Pack, Favoured Pack, and the JCW Pack. With the Indian Government's latest GST reforms, the Mini Cooper now falls under a new flat 40 percent tax slab. Earlier, vehicles larger than 4 metres in length and bearing engines larger than 1200cc (petrol), 1500cc (diesel) used to attract about 45-50 percent GST, out of which 17-22 percent was the cess levied. Under the new regime, the revised tax rate is now at a flat 40 percent with the cess rate now gone.

Even though the Mini Cooper is just about 3876mm long, the fact that is powered by a 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine is why it falls under the 40 percent tax slab. Speaking of the engine, it produces 201bhp and 300Nm of torque, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. On the inside, it carries on with the minimalistic interiors, featuring the 9-inch round infotainment touch screen, and the features include a digital key, a fish-eye camera, and a Level 1 ADAS suite.
