Oben Rorr Electric Motorcycle Launch On March 15 - All Details To Know!

The Oben Rorr electric motorcycle is all set to make its Indian debut on March 15th, 2022. The Rorr electric motorcycle will take on the rivals like the Revolt RV400 and the Tork Kratos EV. With a claimed range of around 200 km, the Rorr electric motorcycle will be the first product in the brand's line-up and is expected to boast a top speed of 100 kmph. Here are all the details of the Rorr electric motorcycle that you should know ahead of the launch in the Indian market.

While the Indian manufacturer will launch its first battery-powered motorcycle on 15th March in India, the deliveries will only commence from April-June later this year. Having said this, the Rorr electric motorcycle that was showcased earlier did have a number of features including a large digital instrument console, LED indicators, LED headlights, split0style seats, etc. In addition to this, the bike also gets five-spoke alloy wheels that complement the retro-modern design language of the Rorr electric motorcycle.

The brand is however yet to release the official specifications and other details about the bike but did promise earlier that the bike will offer a full claimed range of around 200 km while the top speed will be restricted at 100 kmph. What we also know is the fact the Rorr electric motorcycle will be introduced only in a single variant at the time of the launch. The price of the bike is expected to start from around Rs 1.3-1.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Oben Electric is currently setting up a new manufacturing unit near Electronic City in Bengaluru that will have a total production capacity of up to 3 lakh units per annum. In addition to this, the brand is also roping in partners to develop its charging infrastructure and offer the customers a seamless experience to the buyers. The demand for small electric two-wheelers is extremely high in India right now and is expected to grow even further in the coming months.
