Not long ago, test mules of the upcoming Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler bike were spied testing globally. The international test bikes gave a faint idea of what to expect from the upcoming scrambler bike. Now, render images based on the information & spy shots are flying around the internet. These images display a perfect assumption of the design & features of the upcoming motorcycle.

Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler Design & Features

So, what is the buzz about this upcoming product? Bajaj & Triumph collaborated not long ago to develop new budget-friendly products. These products are focused to serve the domestic as well as international markets. The first product is going to be the upcoming scrambler. The joint venture is focusing to hit the sweet spot of the two-wheeler segment with this motorcycle. This translates to a potential rival for the well-established competitors such as Royal Enfield Meteor, Jawa Forty Two, & Yezdi Scrambler.

Looking at the render images & one can immediately recognize the Triumph Bonneville bike pedigree in the design. The sculpted fuel tank, round headlight, & short rear section; all hint at the significant bike design language. USD forks, upswept exhaust pipe, big disc brakes at both tyres, & the fat rear tyre all hint towards a well-put product.

Scrambler Engine & Specifications

As the competition rivals, themselves push the retro-design; this bike will also cater to the same buyer mindset. The overall design gives a retro bike appeal mixed with a well-engineered modern bike altogether. And what about the engine & technical specifications? As suspected globally, the 250-350cc engine category is chosen by the joint venture. This means that we can expect a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, & fairly powerful engine in the bike.

Additionally, the use of modern tech like the slipper-assist clutch, 6-speed gearbox, digital instrument console, & Bluetooth smartphone connectivity is also expected.

Launch & Price

The bike is undergoing extensive development stages. Whilst the global test mules have spied already; the Indian roads are still waiting for the test bikes to run blatantly. For now, we can only anticipate that the launch will not take place before the end of 2023. Also, the expected price will remain in the range of rivals. This means Rs 2 Lakh mark is bound to be crossed.
