TVS Introduce A New 299cc Engine - RT-XD4 300

At TVS Moto Soul, TVS has introduced a new 4-stroke liquid-cooled 299cc engine called the RT-XD4 300, which will come with a 6-speed transmission. Regarding the clutch, it features a wet multi-plate assist and slipper clutch, and the throttle system is ride-by-wire. RT-XD4 300

This new engine produces 35 PS at 9,000 RPM and 28.5 Nm at 7,000 RPM, and it is a liquid-cooled engine. The bore and stroke dimensions are 78mm x 62.6mm. To put it into perspective, the Apache RTR 310 engine has bore and stroke dimensions of 81mm x 62.1mm.

To add more, the architecture is completely new, featuring a dual overhead camshaft, a plasma-coated cylinder, and dual cooling jackets inside the cylinder. The graph figures show that the torque curve is quite flat, and this engine is most likely to be launched with the TVS Adventure bike.
