Last Updated On 12th June'25: Royal Enfield has officially teased the upcoming Himalayan 750 and Himalayan Electric. The brand has been testing both ADVs in the high-altitude terrains of Ladakh. The sightings of these two motorcycles have revealed several new details about the upcoming adventure bikes. However, the launch timeline for both models is yet to be announced.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has not received any updates in a long time and continues to sell with the same set of specifications and variants. However, in 2024, its Rally Edition was spotted testing, but no further developments have been made to it.

Other bikes, like the KTM 390 Adventure X or the Triumph Scrambler 400X, may also be considered. They are in the same price range. But, Royal Enfield has a large service network. It gives you the confidence to take the Himalayan 450 anywhere worry-free. This motorcycle is fully capable. It is loaded with features and looks great. It's India's best budget-friendly adventure motorcycle.
- The new Himalayan has an improved steel twin-spar frame. It boosts strength and rigidity. But, it also shrinks the width between the legs for comfort. At the front are notable features. These include a raised front fender, upside-down (USD) front forks, circular mirrors, LED headlights, and LED turn signals.
- On the sides, big changes include a new fuel tank and updated front racks. A new seat and a redone rear fender are also key parts of the motorcycle. The whole bike has been redesigned to improve its ergonomics. This has cut its weight by 3 kilograms compared to the current Himalayan model.

- The bike has improved power. It has a new six-speed gearbox and ride-by-wire technology. They make it deliver power and torque well for tough terrains.

- The new Himalayan has new features. It boasts a redesigned circular digital instrument panel with integrated Google Maps. Safety enhancements include dual-channel ABS. It has an Off-road mode for turning off the rear wheel ABS. It also has a side-stand cut-off switch. Additionally, the motorcycle is equipped with Ride-by-wire technology that includes four riding modes.
- The bike's hardware includes Showa 43 mm upside-down (USD) front forks. It also has a mono-shock absorber at the rear. It rides on dual-sport 21-inch front and 17-inch rear tires with spoke rims. The brand is testing tubeless spoke rims for the future.
- Braking duties are managed by a 320 mm front disc and a 270 mm rear disc, both supported by dual-channel ABS. An interesting feature on the hardware front is the adjustable rider seat. It comes with a standard height of 825 mm and can be adjusted up to 845mm.
