For 2026, the facelifted Punch EV brings a lot of improvements to the table. It gets design updates, added features, and a better powertrain. The electric SUV is now offered with a larger 40kWh battery pack option, delivering an ARAI-certified range of up to 468km, while the C75 real-world range stands at 355km. In comes BaaS scheme, battery warranty of 15 years and an increased features list. While few features are still missing, the facelift Tata Punch EV makes for a great purchase.

Last Updated On 20th Feb'26: Tata has launched the first-ever facelift of its popular small SUV, the Punch EV. It is now equipped with a 40 kWh battery pack for the long-range variants, offering a C75-claimed range of 355 km. The other battery pack option is a 30 kWh unit. For the first time, Tata is offering this car with a BaaS option at Rs 6.49 lakh, while the actual starting price of this SUV is Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Facelift design might not be to everyone’s liking.
While the suspension is abuse-friendly, the ride quality isn’t very comfortable.
Missing features like rear A/C vents, 60:40 split for rear seats, central rear headrest etc.
Previous Punch EV faced teething issues with build quality and powertrain - hope these are fixed now.
The cabin feels too plasticy, especially for the range-topping version at 12+ lakh.
