Price Tag
The very first thing that comes to mind is the pricing. The TVS Jupiter DT SXC was launched at a price tag of Rs 88,942 (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Honda Activa H Smart is available at a price tag of Rs 1.01 lakh (ex-showroom). Yes, the TVS Jupiter is more affordable than the Honda Activa, hence we need to figure out whether the Activa justifies its pricing or not.
Design

I'm not going to bore you with the conventional "Jupiter has a bold front apron" lines. Everyone has seen them, we'll know what they look like. Still, let's just have a look at the differences. The Jupiter 125 DT SXC variant carries forward the same design approach. It distinguishes itself with dual-tone colour schemes: Ivory Brown and Ivory Silver. Additionally, it gets chrome inserts on the body along with beige coloured inside panels. Aesthetically, the rest remains the same.

On the other hand, with the Activa 125 H Smart, you also get the chrome treatment on the outer body, while the seat and inner panels receive brown finish.
Storage

When it comes to storage, the TVS Jupiter 125 takes the lead, with its segment-leading 32 litres of underseat storage. This is because they've cleverly placed the fuel tank under the floorboard. While the fuel is in the front, which makes it more convenient. In comparison, the Honda Activa 125 offers a decent 18-litre under-seat storage. The Activa also comes with an external fuel filler, but the Jupiter wins if spacious storage is a top priority.
Features

In 2025, everything is smart with screens and connectivity, same is the case with scooters. The Jupiter 125 offers a digital instrument cluster along with the SmartXonnect suite, adding features like turn-by-turn navigation, calls/SMS alerts, average fuel economy, and distance-to-empty.

Getting to the Activa 125, this scooter gets a 10.67cm TFT display along with Honda RoadSync connectivity features such as turn-by-turn navigation, calls/SMS alerts, music controls, and manage messages via voice command and real-time weather updates. Additionally, it offers a Smart Key with features like Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock and Smart Start for added convenience.

This engine belts out 8 bhp and 11.1 Nm of torque, while with iGO assist, the figures go up to 8.4 bhp and 11.1 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the Honda Activa 125 comes equipped with a 123.92cc, 4-stroke engine, which belts out 8.3 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque. While slightly down on the torque, Honda's engine is incredibly smooth and predictable. When it comes to ride quality, the Jupiter 125 takes the edge with its balanced suspension setup and of course, 12-inch wheels, making it ideal for daily commuting.
