Mahindra Marazzo
Mahindra Marazzo is a 7-seater premium MPV from Mahindra’s lineup. It is a very underrated car in its segment. It has good looks, decent engine performance, and spacious interiors. It comes with all the basic features that are must-have in an MPV. It is a safe MPV since it scored 4 stars in GLOBAL NCAP. It mainly rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Carens in its segment. It has been a long time since it got updated and in the future as well, there are fewer chances for it to get any update.
Mahindra Marazzo Latest Update
Last updated On 21st Apr’25: Mahindra’s only MPV on sale is still available without any new updates. A few months ago, news was circulating that the automaker had discontinued it, and it was no longer listed on their official website. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case now, as it is still available for purchase.
The Mahindra Marazzo of 2023 models (M2, M4+, and M6+) is offered with a total discount of Rs. 93,200. For the 2024 models, the benefits are slightly reduced by just Rs. 200.

Should I buy the Marazzo?
The Mahindra Marazzo is a great option in its segment, although it has been underrated. It offers unmatched space, comfort, and premiumness in comparison to its competitors. This vehicle provides both performance and fuel efficiency, along with a good features list. However, if you prefer a CNG or petrol powertrain, you might want to explore the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga or the KIA Carens.
- The design of the Marazzo is very underrated. The bold front face has projector headlamps. It also has chrome inserts on the grill and large fog lamps. These features give it a bold facial expression.
- The alloy wheel design is unique. The big ORVMs give a good view of what's behind them. The rising window line may hamper the outside view. The subtle use of chrome provides a premium character to this MPV.
- From the rear, the design language is simple. There are rear parking sensors with a camera for ease of parking this huge MPV. The rear design can remind you of the elder sibling XYLO to some extent.
- The interiors of the Marazzo are a talking point. The space in the second row and third row is best in the segment. The third row comfortably accommodates 3 adults, making it an 8-seater MPV.
- The fit-finish of the plastics could have been better in some places. It offers a decent features list. Some useful features include a rear camera, cornering lamps, touchscreen infotainment, etc.
- The roof-mounted AC controls and vents take care of second and third-row passengers.
- The Marazzo comes equipped with a 1.5L diesel engine which churns out 121 BHP of power and 300Nm of peak torque. This is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. There is no automatic transmission that would have boosted the sales of this vehicle.
- The engine’s performance is quite lacking compared to the size of the vehicle. It offers good fuel efficiency in the city and highway conditions.
- The engine has good low-end, and the lag is well-contained. The mid-range is the sweetest and the top-end is vague. The engine NVH levels are also lower, so you hear less of the diesel clatter inside the cabin.
Marazzo engine specifications:
| Transmission | Manual |
| Mileage | 17.3 |
| Engine | 1497 cc |
| Power | 120.9 bhp @ 3500 rpm |
| Torque | 300 Nm @ 1750-2500 rpm |
| Drive Train | FWD |
- The ride quality of the Marazzo is quite impressive. The seats offer pure comfort and you’ll not be tired on long journeys. The suspension is on the softer side. This helps create a plush, premium experience inside the cabin.
- The softer suspension setup ends up having some amount of body roll around the corners. At higher speeds, the ride might get a bit bouncy. But the suspension effortlessly engulfs the bad roads and potholes.
- The softer suspension setup ends up having some amount of body roll around the corners. At higher speeds, the ride might get a bit bouncy. But the suspension effortlessly engulfs the bad roads and potholes.
- The third row of seats is made for adults. They are very spacious and roomy, but the rising window line can be a bit issue. When all the rows are up, the boot space might be an issue in that case.
- The Marazzo comes equipped with all 4-disc brakes that ensure strong stopping power. It has ABS, EBD, and front dual airbags in terms of safety list.
- What's more interesting is that it scored 4 stars in the GLOBAL NCAP Crash test rating. This makes Marazzo the first MPV to get 4 stars in a crash test.
