The MG Gloster is a full-size SUV and the flagship vehicle of MG in India. Its customers are those who want a large vehicle that doesn't fall short on features or luxury appeal. Most of them have ditched their plans to go for the Fortuner, as it is the main rival to Toyota's beast in the country. Some of its key features include ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, captain seats, a large infotainment touchscreen, and multiple terrain modes. However, the engine is shared with the Hector - the 2.0L diesel engine.

Looks, performance and all is fine but the main headache is customer service. Absolutely ridiculous service centre staff. Issues keeps popping up and MG takes 0 responsibility for it. Last Updated on 11th Feb'25: The MG Gloster is a full-size SUV and also happens to be the flagship MG model in India. Recently, all its variants experienced a price hike, with some variants becoming more expensive by up to Rs 70,000 starting from February 2025. This SUV is available with two engine specifications: a 2.0L turbo and a 2.0L twin-turbo. In total, there are 9 variants available, with the most popular one being the Blackstrom.
MG Motor India has unveiled the new Gloster Storm series with new Snowstorm and Desertstorm editions. The new Storm series gets cosmetic updates and joins the Gloster Blackstorm edition in the Gloster lineup.Black and red highlights on different body parts further enhance the exterior. The side mirrors are painted black colour and have a red accent, the door handles are blacked out, and the alloy wheels are blacked out and get the same design as the Blackstorm variant.
