Honda has recently launched its first 350cc retro cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market. This new retro cruiser from Honda is called the H'Ness CB 350 BS6 and it rivals against a lot of motorcycles. In this segment, we have some very good retro cruisers which include the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Motorcycles and the Benelli Imperiale 400. Before we begin with the alternatives, let me quickly tell you the specs of the new H'Ness CB 350. So, it is powered by a new BS6-compliant 348.3cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 21.07 PS of power at 5500 RPM and 30 Nm of peak torque at 3000 RPM and it comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The motorcycle gets telescopic forks at the front and dual spring-loaded hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. It gets disc brakes at either end with dual-channel ABS. It rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear tubeless tyres and gets plenty of features too.

This motor develops 20.07 PS of power at 5250 RPM and 28 Nm of peak torque at 4000 RPM. It also comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. For braking duties, it gets disc at the front and drum/disc at the rear with single/dual-channel ABS. It gets telescopic forks at the front and dual spring-loaded hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The RE Classic 350 is priced between Rs. 1.59 lakhs - Rs. 1.84 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.

Jawa Classic / Jawa Forty-Two BS6

If you love the retro charm, you will surely like the Jawa Motorcycles. Jawa Forty-Two and Jawa Classic are a great alternative to the H'Ness CB 350 if features don't matter to you. Both these motorcycles are powered by a BS6-compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 26.51 PS of power and 27.05 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The suspension of these Jawa bikes is identical to the RE Classic 350. It gets disc at the front and drum/disc at the rear with single/dual-channel ABS. These Jawas are priced between Rs. 1.60 lakhs - Rs. 1.83 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 / Vitpilen 250 BS6

Wanna make a cool style statement? These Husqvarna Twins are just for you! They are powered by a BS6-compliant 248.76cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 29.6 PS of power at 9000 RPM and 24 Nm of peak torque at 7250 RPM and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. They get USD front forks and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The Bajaj Dominar 400 is a hyper tourer and a great alternative to the H'Ness CB 350. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 373.2cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DTS-i engine. This motor churns out 40 PS of power at 8800 RPM and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It gets USD front forks and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. For braking duties, it gets disc brakes on each wheel with dual-channel ABS. The Dominar 400 BS6 is priced at Rs. 1.97 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
