Hero Motocorp has added an Xtec model to their best-selling motorcycle, the Splendor Plus. To make the bike more contemporary, the company has loaded the Xtec model with a tonne of new amenities. The Splendor Plus Xtec competes with the TVS Radeon. In order to determine which is the superior 100 cc commuter, here is a comparison of the Hero Splendor Plus Xtec vs TVS Radeon.

While the TVS Radeon's engine is 12.5 cc larger than the Splendor Plus Xtec's, the difference in power and torque is only 0.18 bhp and 0.65 Nm respectively. These numbers don't mean much on paper, and both bikes' performance on the road is decent for a motorbike used for a practical commuter.

Both the TVS Radeon and the Splendor Plus Xtec have straightforward designs. Both bikes include a single, long, straight seat, a rear luggage carrier, a standard halogen headlamp with LED DRLs, and other features.

The Splendor Plus Xtec has a digital instrument cluster with call and SMS alerts, among other features. On the other hand, the Digi Cluster model of the TVS Radeon has a digital instrument console with a wealth of information, while the basic variant just get simple twin-analog dial.
