Keeway India seems to be on an expansion spree. It is not long ago since the Keeway V302C was launched in India. After receiving a positive response from the Indian market, new models are being planned. One such product is the 2022 Keeway SR125 bike. It has been spied on for the first time in India at a dealership. The new bike beholds some interesting design elements and information.

Keeway SR125 Design Details
Speaking of the spied bike, it already looks showroom-ready. However, there is no official date of launch has been revealed till now. Its overall design looks neo-retro with a rugged appeal. The front uses a round headlight design with telescopic forks and a gaiter kit. Additionally, the big chunky all-purpose tyres add to the hardcore appeal. Meanwhile, the sculpted fuel tank resembles that of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. The single-piece seat has a good cushioning design to it.
Move to the rear end and you can notice the minimal design theme. A single round taillight and the tubular pillion grab handle are visible. It has also been packed with a fully digital instrument pod which is round in shape. Again, the riding position looks more relaxed as it is a 125cc bike.
Engine & Specifications
Looking at the 125cc engine, we predict that it is a single-cylinder, air-cooled unit. It shall make a peak power of around 10 bhp and a peak torque of around 9 Nm. Expect a 5-speed gearbox to feature on it because of the smaller capacity engine. Type of this 125cc engine is used in the global product range by the parent company Qianjiang motors. Hence, we suspect that unit is going to be pinned down on this chassis. Additionally, we expect it to be offered with some features like dual-channel ABS, Bluetooth connectivity, etc.
Meanwhile, it will be a premium bike overall and hence it shall compete with KTM Duke 125. The launch price, however, can be on the higher side. We expect a target price of Rs 2 lakh going as per Keeway's other model launches. The newly launched Kawasaki W175 is also a target bike for it.
