Suzuki Motorcycle India has added a new colour to the V-Strom SX line-up: Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray. It comes with revised graphics, while the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged. The V-Strom SX is priced at Rs 2.02 lakh (ex-showroom), with the new colour joining the existing three colour options.

The new dual-tone shade joins the existing Champion Yellow No. 2 + Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Glacier White + Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Glass Sparkle Black options.
The V-Strom SX is powered by a 249 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that makes 26.5 PS at 9,300 rpm and 22.2 Nm at 7,300 rpm. It rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, has 205 mm of ground clearance and gets dual-channel ABS.
Feature-wise, the adventure tourer offers LED lighting, the Suzuki Easy Start System, and a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster with Suzuki Ride Connect. A windscreen, knuckle covers, a USB charging outlet and a rear carrier are also part of the package.
In the Indian market, the Suzuki V-Strom SX rivals the KTM 250 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure and Hero Xpulse 210. The Honda NX200 is another alternative, although it sits a segment below in terms of engine capacity.
End Note
The V-Strom SX remains one of the more underrated options in the entry-level adventure segment. Owners generally praise its smooth, vibration-free engine, stable highway manners at 110-120 km/h and comfortable seat. The motor also offers good torque when riding through twisty roads. Fuel efficiency is another strong point, with owners reporting around 35-37 kmpl when riding below 100 km/h.
The stiff suspension and limited headlight throw on night highway rides are among the common complaints. However, these aren't major drawbacks for most owners. If you are looking for a reliable and comfortable adventure tourer, the V-Strom SX is worth considering. The new colour could help bring some more attention to the motorcycle.
