Hero MotoCorp Registers 12% YoY Growth in September 2026

Hero MotoCorp has registered a total sales of 7,66,348 units in September 2026. This is a 12% year-on-year growth. Compared to the last year, Hero recorded total sales of 6,87,220 units in September 2025.

Hero MotoCorp has sold nearly 79,100 units more compared to the same month last year. There is a significant increase of 12%. The best performers from Hero’s garage are their scooters, growing nearly 65% and adding about 39,400 units. Whereas the motorcycle group added 39,800 units with a growth of 6% only.  

Hero has witnessed a growth of 14% in the domestic market whereas exports have declined by 31%. 96% of the sales volumes has come from the domestic sales.

Hero MotoCorp has clocked about 4.88 lakh more two-wheelers this financial year compared to the cumulative dispatches of last financial year, a significant growth of 16%. On average, Hero MotoCorp is dispatching about 5.91 lakh two-wheelers per month so far. September's volume of 7.66 lakh units is well above this average.

Scooters have been the key growth driver in the first half of the financial year, with dispatches up 69% to 4.33 lakh units. Motorcycles remain the backbone of the business, with 31.13 lakh units, or about 88% of total volumes in FY27 so far.

Hero Plans

Hero MotoCorp is reportedly planning to introduce a new Xtreme motorcycle around mid-October. However, the company has kept details under wraps, and no specifications or pricing have been revealed so far.
