1. Styling
The 2025 Honda Unicorn retains its classic design for the 2025 model year, a testament to its enduring appeal. This commuter-friendly motorcycle will be available in three color options: Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, and Radiant Red Metallic. However, it does get an LED headlamp now, but the styling remains the same.
2. Engine Updates
The 2025 Unicorn features an updated 162.71cc single-cylinder engine, now compliant with OBD2B emissions standards. This engine delivers 13bhp and 14.58Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. This is the driving update that the manufacturers need to introduce, which is compliance with the new emission norms.
3. Added Features
The updated bike not only meets the latest emission standards but also introduces several updates. It now comes equipped with a new LED headlamp, a digital instrument cluster, and a gear position indicator. Additionally, following the trend set by other recently updated Honda commuter models, the Unicorn also features a USB-C charger for on-the-go solutions.
4. Hardware Untouched
It continues to maintain its no-frills hardware, featuring telescopic front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension for a balanced ride. The braking system consists of a front disc and a rear drum brake, both paired with 17-inch wheels, offering reliable stopping power for everyday riding. The update is more focused on meeting the emission standards with a few feature add-ons.

5. Price Hiked
Including all the updates with the new features and tweaked engine, the Unicorn is now expensive than before at Rs. 1,11,301 ex-showroom which is now Rs. 8,180 more than before.
Verdict
A long-standing presence in the 160cc motorcycle segment, the Honda Unicorn receives these updates aimed at modernizing and enhancing its appeal. The inclusion of an OBD2B-compliant engine will offer improved refinement and a better overall riding experience alongwith checking the emissions. However, these updates are accompanied with a price hike, but it offsets some fo it with the new features that it now offers.
