Ather has recently dropped the price of its base model, the Ather 450S, by a whopping Rs 20,000. Now, you can grab the 450S without the Pro Pack for just Rs 1,09,999. But here's the exciting part  if you decide to go for the Pro Pack, it will only cost you an additional Rs 10,000. And trust me, it's worth it because you'll unlock a bunch of cool connected and smart features. It comes to choosing the color, you've got four options to pick from  Cosmic Black, Salt Green, Space Grey, and Still White.

Ather 450S: Details

The Ather 450S boasts a sleek and contemporary design, drawing inspiration from its sibling, the 450X. Its aesthetics are clean and clutter-free, characterized by smooth curves and well-defined lines. At the front, a sharp LED headlight takes center stage, while seamlessly integrated LED turn indicators on the handlebar cover and body panels contribute to its polished look.

Under the hood, the 450S is fueled by a 2.9kWh battery, delivering an impressive IDC-claimed range of 115km in SmartEco mode, though real-world usage might hover around 90km. With a power-packed 5.4kW engine and 22Nm of torque, the 450S is a nifty little machine, maintaining its agility with an impressive top speed of 90kph.

Charging at home may seem a bit sluggish, taking approximately 6 hours and 36 minutes to reach 80 percent. However, the 450S compensates with a swift charging experience at any Ather Grid fast-charging station, boasting a rate of 1.5km/min.

It comes with a 7-inch DeepView" display, Turn-by-Turn Navigation, and a strong emphasis on safety, offering features like Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), FallSafe", Dual disc brakes, Side-stand sensors, Auto indicator cut-off, and Guide-me-home light, among others. Opting for the Pro Pack provides additional perks like coasting regen, vehicle fall safe, tow and theft alerts, along with access to various ride modes and Bluetooth connectivity.

Now, the Ather 450S comes at a new price point that positions it comfortably below its direct competitors  namely, the base TVS iQube, the Bajaj Chetak Urbane, and the Ola S1 Air.
