Bajaj Pulsar N125 Leaked; Things To See!

Based on the teaser images, the Pulsar N125 is going to look a little different from the other N series Pulsars. The headlight appears to be a sleek unit, unlike the projector setup from the N160 and N250. The fuel tank also appears to be smaller and slimmer, but with sharper shrouds. The design of the turn-indicators also appears quite different, and rather basic.

The Pulsar N125 also gets an underbelly exhaust, and in terms of the suspension hardware, it will receive conventional telescopic forks and a monoshock. We can expect the riding stance to be slightly leaned forward, but not too committed obviously, similar to what we have seen on the Raider and the Xtreme 125R. The pictures also show a split-seat setup, but Bajaj may also possibly offer a single-seat variant as well.

Not much is known about the rear, but the N125 does get a chunky looking grab rail, and the tail lights will be the similar twin LED strips that Pulsars are associated with. In terms of paint schemes, the official teaser makes use of the colour purple quite a lot, perhaps hinting towards a dual-tone black and purple paint scheme. The use of purple could also be a nod back to the older Pulsars from the DTSi era.

Not much can be said about the features, but we can expect the new LCD instrument cluster to make an appearance here, with the possibility of bluetooth and navigation on at least the higher variants.

Verdict

The Pulsar N125 could be yet another success story for Bajaj. This gives buyers yet another option in the 125cc sporty commuter category, given that the Raider and the Xtreme 125R already had the NS125 as a rival from Bajaj, and now the N125 also looks set to cash in.
