Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr Spotted Testing; Details

The Crossfire 500 Storr appears to draw inspiration from the old Himalayan and the Husqvarna Norden 901. The round headlamp with the fairing and the tall windscreen, along with the tank section featuring the jerry can holders, and the exposed frame give it that familiar, rugged and purposeful look. However, unlike the bikes that it seems to be inspired from, the Crossfire 500 Storr comes with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel setup.

Powering this bike is the same 486cc, parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, producing 46.9bhp at 8500rpm and 43Nm of torque at 6750rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Brixton has not specified the adjustability levels clearly, but the Crossfire 500 Storr comes with telescopic USD forks and a link-type monoshock. As for braking, the bikemaker has deployed a 320mm disc with dual-piston callipers and a 240mm disc with a single-piston floating calliper.
The Crossfire 500 Storr will likely go up against the Honda NX500, and the CFMoto 450MT if it ever comes, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan could also be considered as one. Given that the Crossfire 500X and the Crossfire 500 XC are priced at Rs 4.74 lakh and Rs 5.19 lakh respectively, the Crossfire 500 Storr should likely be priced at a slight premium.
Verdict
The Crossfire 500 Storr is likely going to help generate some more interest in the brand, given that the bikemaker is still relatively new in the Indian market, and how popular the adventure motorcycle segment is becoming.
