What Sets the Brixton Crossfire 500XC Apart

The Brixton Crossfire 500XC stands as the rugged, scrambler-style sibling of the Crossfire 500X, bringing subtle design tweaks and off-road-inspired elements. These include a beak-style front fender, metal windscreen, and side-mounted number boards, giving it a more adventure-ready look. Under the skin, the 500XC boasts KYB suspension components, featuring a fully adjustable upside-down front fork and a rear monoshock adjustable for preload and rebound.

The bike rides on spoked wheels, a 19-inch wheel at the front and 17-inch at the rear, both wrapped in tubeless tyres, enhancing both capability and convenience for long-distance touring or mild off-roading. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc, paired with dual-channel ABS for added safety.

Powertrain Details

Powering the Crossfire 500XC is a 486 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 46 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 4,350 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine offers a refined, tractable performance ideal for both city commuting and highway touring. Its twin-cylinder setup ensures smoother power delivery, setting it apart from single-cylinder rivals in its class.

Brixton Storr 500: India Launch Expected in December

Brixton Motorcycles isn't stopping with discounts. The brand is gearing up to expand its portfolio with the Brixton Storr 500, its first mid-capacity adventure-touring motorcycle, which is set to launch in India in December 2025. The Storr 500 shares its mechanicals with the Crossfire range and is powered by the same 486 cc, twin-cylinder engine, delivering 47 bhp and 43 Nm through a 6-speed gearbox.

Designed to compete in the fast-growing ADV segment, the Storr 500 will go up against heavyweights such as the Honda NX500, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure, and CFMoto 450 MT. With its upright stance, tall windscreen, long-travel suspension, and rugged styling, the Storr 500 is expected to appeal to riders looking for a balance between touring comfort and off-road performance.

Verdict

Brixton's latest price cut on the Crossfire 500XC is a smart strategic move, helping the brand gain traction ahead of the Storr 500's India debut. The festive discount not only makes the Crossfire 500XC one of the most affordable twin-cylinder motorcycles in its segment but also repositions Brixton as a serious contender in the premium mid-capacity space. For buyers seeking a stylish and capable scrambler with a European flair, the Crossfire 500XC at Rs. 3.99 lakh is now a far more compelling deal, though they'll have to move quickly before the offer expires on November 5.
