Hero MotoCorp Achieves Record-Breaking Festive Season Sales in 2023

Hero MotoCorp has achieved a milestone with its highest-ever festive season sales, surpassing the previous record set in 2019. The company successfully sold over 14 lakh 2-wheelers in the 32-day festive period, marking a significant 19% increase compared to the previous year.

2023 Festive Season Sales Soar to New Heights for Hero MotoCorp

Over the past four years, the company's two-wheeler sales faced challenges due to the consistent increase in selling prices and a decline in the disposable income of its core customer base. However, a positive turn of events unfolded during the recent festive season, marking a significant rebound. The 32-day festive period, spanning from the first day of Navratri to Bhai Dooj, witnessed the company achieving its highest-ever festive sales.

Preliminary reports indicate that two-wheeler sales during this festive period reached an impressive 30 lakh units. It's worth noting that these figures are provisional, awaiting final confirmation from the industry's major players, including Hero MotoCorp, Honda, TVS, and Bajaj Auto.

Our strong portfolio of brands, scale of distribution and new launches done this year helped in driving this growth across geographies. The festive season is a clear testimony that rural is coming back to growth, which augurs well for the country in general and the two-wheeler industry in particular, said Niranjan Gupta, CEO, Hero MotoCorp.
