Hero MotoCorp Vida e-scooter is the first EV from the domestic brand. It'll also become the first EV from Hero to be exported to Europe and South America.
Hero MotoCrop Vida e-scooter is all set for its global debut on upcoming July 1, 2022. This will be the first electric product from the two-wheeler giant. Once this EV makes it to production, a considerable portion of the production will be exported to European as well as South American markets.

In a recent business interview, Hero MotoCorp claimed that it has readied itself for the export of EVs. This means that the Vida e-scooter has been Designed to lure the potential-filled international EV markets such as Europe & Latin America.
For constructing its new EV brand 'Vida' and readying the first product; Hero has partnered with Taiwan-based Gogoro solutions. Both giants have been working actively under the Hero's R&D centers in India. Additionally, technical support is sought from Ather Energy as well. The Bangalore-based EV maker Ather is well known for its 450X and 450 Plus e-scooters in India. Hero owns a total of 34.8 percent stakes in Ather as well.
Not just the product, but, Hero is also working on providing better charging support for their upcoming EV range. To do that, Hero is setting up charging stations pan India with support from Gogoro along. Hero aims at readying these charging stations even before the scheduled launch of the Vida e-scooter. The availability of charging options well before launch will help in future sales & marketing; as Hero expects.
There is no further information about the first e-scooter from Hero for now. Although, a sneak peek of the design was seen during the launch of the Vida brand. With a white & black colour combination; the e-scooter looked beautiful during the online EV brand launch. Hero is also actively working for swappable battery options for their upcoming EV range. Swappable batteries will eliminate the range anxiety which potential customers face with the EVs.

By exporting its EV range to Western and EV-rich markets, Hero MotoCorp will set up itself as a big EV player. Hero has already shown its ambitious intentions of achieving big financial numbers via EVs. With such steps; the ambition will soon become reality for Hero.
