Ather Electric is now all set to introduce new variants in the Indian market to offer better VFM, more features, and a better range. The brand is currently known to offer performance-oriented and high-quality electric two-wheelers in the Indian market. Currently, Ather offers 450 Plus and 450X in India at a price of Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.60 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). Here are all the details that you should know about the upcoming new Ather Electric scooter variants in India.
Ather recently confirmed that two new battery-powered electric scooters are currently being considered and will be based on the existing 450 e-scooter platforms. The 450X is one of the best selling electric scooters in India and offers a power-packed performance and a long list of features and equipment that is on offer. With the launch of the new variants, the brand will focus on offering a larger and more efficient battery pack. no major changes are expected to be offered with these new variants.

While these variants are expected to make a debut in late 2022 or early 2023, no concrete details about the specs and performance are out yet. The brand aims at expanding its electric line-up in the country to give a strong competition to its rivals. Ather recently also rolled out new updates recently for the 450 Plus and the 450X. A new SmartEco riding mode was also introduced as part of this new update. It is however worth noting the fact that the new SmartEco ride mode will only be available to users who have Ather Connect Pro subscription plans.
Currently, the Ather 450X gets a 6kW electric motor while the 450 Plus on the other hand gets a 5.4 kW motor that delivers a peak torque output of 22 Nm. The real-life range of these scooters stands at around 85 km and 70 km respectively.
