Hero Motocorp has launched yet another edition of its top-selling motorcycle the Splendor. The brand has launched the Splendor+ Xtec 2.0 at Rs 82,911 (ex-showroom) in India. The new Xtec 2.0 variant celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Hero Splendor. The new variant comes with a dual-tone colour option. Read details of the new Hero Splendor+ Xtec 2.0 below. Hero Splendor+ Xtec 2.0
The new Xtec 2.0 comes with the same design language as other variants of the Splendor. It gets new dual-tone graphics with new colour options namely, Matter Grey, Gloss Red, and Gloss Black. The motorcycle continues to get a long seat, a tubular grab rail, a side hook, an engine crash guard, and other components.
On the features front, the new variant gets a USB charging port, real-time mileage indicator, fully digital instrument cluster with Eco indicator, Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alert, LED headlamp, side stand engine cutoff, and hazard switch among other features. The hardware of the motorcycle continues to get tubeless tyres, drum brakes on both ends, telescopic front forks, and dual spring shock absorbers on the back.
The Splendor Xtec 2.0 gets power from the same 100cc engine, producing 7.9 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated with a frugal 4-speed gearbox. The engine continues to get the Hero i3S idle start-stop technology for enhanced efficiency. The claimed economy of the motorcycle is 73 kmpl.

Hero Splendor+ is one of the top selling 100cc motorcycle in India and it has gained the title of world's top selling motorcycle as well. The Splendor is applauded for its low running cost, fuel efficient engine and simple yet practical design language. With the launch of the new Splendor+ Xtec 2.0 variant the Splendor range has become more feature rich. The Hero Splendor+ continues to compete with the TVS Radeon, Honda Shine 100 and other 100cc motorcycles.
