Hero Motocorp has silently updated its top-selling motorcycle the Hero Splendor+ Xtec with a new feature. The brand has launched the Splendor+ Xtec Disc brake version at Rs 83,641 (ex-showroom). Hero Splendor+ Xtec Disc

Hero Splendor is one of the longest-selling and one of the highest-selling commuter motorcycles in the Indian market. The brand has given regular updates to the motorcycle to make it modern. The Hero Splendor+ Xtec recently got an Xtec 2.0 variant with an LED headlamp, hazard lamp, and other features. Now, the brand has launched the Splendor+ Xtec with front disc brake.

The Hero Splendor+ Xtec now comes with a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear disc brake. The front disc brake will now help in enhancing the braking capabilities of the motorcycle. Apart from the addition of a disc brake, Hero Motocorp has not made any other changes to the motorcycle. It continues to get a purposeful design with rectangular shaped headlamp assembly, alloy wheels, telesopic front forks, dual-spring shock absorber and other elements.

The Hero Splendor+ is powered by a 97.2 cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine producing 7.9 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated with a 4-speed gearbox. Moreover, the motorcycle gets Hero's i3S idle start-stop technology.
