Hero Xoom 110 Now OBD-2B Compliant

Hero has silently launched their Xoom 110, now with the latest OBD-2B compliance emission norms. And of course, with the update, prices have gone up slightly. The scooter now starts at Rs 76,067 (ex-showroom) for the VX variant, as the lower variant, LX, has been discontinued. It goes up to Rs 84,017 (ex-showroom) for the top-spec Combat Edition. This means the lineup now kicks off from the VX variant, offering a better set of features as standard.
Engine

At the heart of the Hero Xoom 110 lies a 110.9cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is now OBD-2B compliant. However, the power figures remain the same; it belts out 8.15 PS and 8.70 Nm of torque. Moreover, it comes with the Hero's i3S (idle start stop) tech, which improves efficiency by switching off the engine in traffic.
Features And Hardware

It remains peppy and city-friendly with a similar set of features, including LED projector headlamps, USB charger, boot lamp, and LCD instrument console, along with Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, it continues to ride on 12-inch alloy wheels along with a telescopic and monoshock setup at the rear. However, braking duties are handled by a different setup in different variants. The VX trim comes with a 130 mm drum brake at the front, while the ZX trim offers a 190 mm disc at the front. However, the rear gets 130mm drum brakes for all variants as standard.
