2025 Bajaj Dominar 400- What's New

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 has already been spotted at dealerships, and with the teaser now out, it hints at an imminent launch. It continues with its signature muscular design, complete with the familiar windscreen, knuckle guards, luggage mounts, and the distinctive twin LED tail lights. While the overall styling remains largely unchanged, a closer inspection reveals several notable upgrades. The most significant of these is the new digital instrument cluster borrowed from the Pulsar NS400Z, replacing the older setup. The secondary display now makes way for a USB port, and updated switchgear includes a small joystick to navigate the cluster.

Expected tech additions include ride-by-wire functionality and four selectable riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road. The feature list is likely to expand with Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and even a lap timer. Mechanically, the bike will retain the 373.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, now updated to meet OBD2B norms, continuing to produce 39.42bhp and 35Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 Updates

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 has also begun arriving at dealerships as we reported earlier, revealing a series of feature updates while keeping its mechanical setup unchanged. The most notable change is the new digital instrument console, the same unit seen on the Pulsar NS200, which now brings smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, along with call and message notifications. Another big addition is the inclusion of traction control, enhancing safety, especially for newer riders.

It also gets switchable ABS with three riding modes, Road, Rain, and Off-road, giving riders more adaptability based on conditions. Despite these tech upgrades, the bike retains its familiar 248.77cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 27PS and 23.5Nm, paired with the same chassis and suspension setup as before.
As for the launch, the teaser is now out and you can expect the launch to take place in the coming week or so. As for the pricing, that too will be adjusted to include the added features.
Verdict
The updated models are here to elevate the mass appeal of the bikes, which for quite sometime now, have been unchanged. The added tweaks and tech will ultimately make it better for the rider and for those waiting for the yearly refresh. Interstingly, while the motorcycles are being taken care of, Bajaj is doing tremendously with its Chetak electric scooter as well, which, with its iconic nametag, has been rolling off the showrooms in good numbers.
