Upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spotted; Details

The upcoming Himalayan 750 has been spotted testing with spoke rims and some other off-road ready bits many times earlier. However, this time, another test mule has been spotted testing with alloy rims. It is possible that the Himalayan 750 may arrive in just a touring-focused version, since it is likely to be too heavy for off-road usage, and Royal Enfield motorcycles typically tend to have a certain heft to them.

A lot of details are under tight wraps, but there are a few things that we can discuss. The motorcycle is going to be built on a new platform with a new sub-frame, and it could possibly make use of a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel. The frame will also likely be suspended on adjustable USD forks and an adjustable monoshock for the swingarm. As for the brakes, it will use a Bybre twin-disc setup at the front and a Bybre disc at the rear.
The powertrain is going to be a bored-out version of the 648cc. parallel-twin engine, which is said to displace 750cc when it eventually makes its global debut. Obviously, there will be an increase in the power and torque figures over the current Himalayan, and the presence of twin disc brakes further points towards this fact.

As for the equipment list, the Himalayan 750 has been spotted with the familiar round TFT from the regular Himalayan, and we can expect it to similarly also feature Google Maps navigation. Some other things could also include dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control (since it may have some light off-roading chops indeed), and a slipper clutch among other things.

Verdict
The upcoming Himalayan 750 is likely to make its global debut at the EICMA, and an India launch could soon follow when Royal Enfield hosts the 2025 edition of Motoverse. It may possibly have no direct rivals at first, but the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 could likely be one when it gets launched here.
