Honda CB300F Price Reduction Details

Honda CB300F

As per the dealers of Honda, this is a year-end lot clearance tactic. The CB300F was launched in August this year but its sales did not impress Honda anyhow. Additionally, the competition is already stuffed with more value-for-money bikes. However, the reduction of price by up to Rs 50,000 means that the bike is now more affordable than ever. As per the online reports, at some places, it is now being offered at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.75 lakh only. For example, Telangana state on-road price has dropped to a staggering Rs 2.10 lakh only.

Moreover, CB has been a limping brand name for the company in India. The CB300R was also not able to perform much good due to its high price tag. Repeating the same, the CB300F price has been set on the higher side thus keeping off many potential customers. However, the latest reduction will only last for this month's end. Hence, we can already see its pricing rise from Jan'23.

Meanwhile, the CB300F is powered by a 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It makes a peak power of 23.8 bhp & a peak torque of 25.6 Nm. A 6-speed gearbox is equipped to deliver this power to the rear wheel. Honda has also fitted equipment like the TCS (traction control), digital TFT screen, dual-channel ABS, etc., on this bike. Its main highlight remains its lowest kerb weight in the segment. At 153 kg, it is the lightest bike in its segment. It is available in three colour options and a total of two variants. Its main rivals in India is KTM Duke 250.

Verdict

As the year-end approaches, many manufacturers have started to offer discounts. These discounts are a sweet deal for potential customers. Additionally, the majority of the manufacturers are going to hike prices from Jan'23. So, if you're looking to buy the CB300F in near future; the time is now.
