The new model of the Ninja 300 has not changed much from its previous one. The bike looks similar as it has no changes to its design or the way it looks. However, Kawasaki has introduced new three colours to choose from. These are - Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey. Meanwhile, the features on it are also unaltered. It continues featuring halogen bulb twin-pod headlights, a semi-digital instrument console, etc. Meanwhile, the safety features include a dual-channel ABS.

With the new colours, the graphics on the newer model are also changed. The bike now looks more mature yet attractive. Designed to take the sharp corners with confidence, it now uses a BS6 Phase 2 emission norms-compliant engine. The new engine has received OBD updates via new sensors. However, the rest of the construction remains unchanged of it. Therefore, the 296cc parallel-twin motor is still unaltered as it produces a peak power of 38.4 bhp & 26.1 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed transmission pays the duty to transfer this power via a slipper-assist clutch.

Verdict

The Ninja 300 is the most-affordable sports bike from Kawasaki India in its lineup. It is widely appreciated for its smooth and fast performance. However, despite the latest update, it is now started to feel outdated. The features and the design are now becoming outdated. In fact, rivals like the KTM RC 390 & BMW G 310 RR offer a lot of features when compared to the Ninja itself. Tell us what you think about the Ninja 300 by commenting in the comment section below.
