MY2025 Triumph Trident 660

Triumph Trident 660 is now available with three riding modes: Sport, Road, and Rain. Among these, Sport mode is the latest addition. Along with this update, it also gets a bidirectional quick shifter and Bluetooth connectivity, which have been made standard now, as earlier they were available optionally. To add more, the feature which was missing earlier has been introduced - the Cruise Control. However, once the speed is set, it can't change (increase or decrease) unless the whole cruise system is disengaged.

Talking about other new change, Showa Big Piston sort has entered this bike - which is the only mechanical difference between the older and new Trident 660, and the only adjustment it offers is preload at the rear. Apart from these, the bikes is same - Triumph still offers, slip and assist clutch, optimised cornering ABS and traction control, TFT connectivity unit.
Powertrain & More
The 660cc inline-3 cylinder engine hasn't been tweaked a bit. It still produces 81 bhp and 64 Nm of torque, and power is transmitted through a 6-speed gearbox. The front suspension consists of Showa USD forks with 120mm wheel travel, and the rear one is also from Showa with 130mm wheel travel. Lastly, it gets dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
Pricing and Colour

It starts at Rs 8.49 lakh with the Jet Black colour option, and then there are three more dual-tone options, all priced at Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom). The names of these colours are Diablo Red, Cosmic Yellow, and Cobalt Blue with Sapphire Black.
Verdict
This motorcycle doesn't have any direct rival, but the closest one with which it can be competed against are - Kawasaki Z650RS and Honda CB650R E-Clutch. That said, this is just a feature upgrade with asking Rs 37,000 more price than before. So, it's not really a major change.
