2025 Bajaj Dominar Launched; Details

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar carries on with the familiar, muscular design that we have been seeing since its inception, and somehow it seems to work even today, although we suspect there will be a set of buyers wanting to see something different with the brand. The windscreen, knucle guards, luggage rails, and the rear section with the twin LED tail lights have also been retained.

Underneath the familiar design, both the Dominar 250 and the Dominar 400 carry forward the same mechanical setups as before. The Dominar 400 comes with the same 373.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing 39.42bhp at 8800rpm and 35Nm of torque at 6500rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The Dominar 250 also carries on with the same 248cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder setup, producing 26.6bhp at 8500rpm and 23.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm.

In terms of features, there is a new instrument cluster borrowed from the Pulsar NS400Z, and the secondary display has been changed in favour of a USB port. Both motorcycles come with four ride modes; road, rain, sport, and off-road, and while the 250 continues with a mechanical throttle body, the 400 now comes with an electronic one. Additionally, the Dominar 400 also comes with a ride-by-wire system. Both bikes also come with a phone mount and a new switchgear.

Verdict
The new Dominar may not be a completely new-generation motorcycle, and Bajaj has given the current motorcycle a new lease of life with a set of features borrowed from the Pulsar NS400Z. However, the familiar powertrain and mechanicals continue to make it a capable tourer; something it has been known for since it made its debut.
