TVS Jupiter 125 Teased, Hinting At An Imminent Launch
TVS Motor Company has dropped a teaser for the upcoming TVS Jupiter 125, indicating that the refreshed model is just around the corner. The brief preview suggests a significant design overhaul, something the scooter hasn't really seen since its debut in 2021. While the engine and core mechanicals are likely to stay unchanged, the new iteration is expected to bring in a host of feature enhancements to keep it competitive in the ever-evolving scooter segment. While there's no official confirmation yet, anticipated upgrades may include a fully digital TFT console with SmartXonnect, an LED headlamp, hazard lights, and a follow-me-home lighting function, features that would bring it closer in line with current market expectations.
TVS has offered only a subtle peek at the upcoming Jupiter 125 through its teaser clips, revealing a redesigned rear section with what looks like a fresh tail lamp setup. Although full details remain under wraps, it's reasonable to expect that the new Jupiter 125 will adopt some styling elements from the updated Jupiter 110, which debuted last year.

Powertrain Details
The upcoming model is expected to retain the same 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the current version. In its standard form, the engine produces around 8 bhp and 10.5 Nm of torque. When equipped with iGO Assist, the output slightly improves to 8.44 bhp and 11.1 Nm. Power delivery will continue to be managed by a CVT transmission.

The TVS Jupiter takes on tits arch rival the Honda Activa and also other scooters in the line-up. Notably, the brand has updates the smaller sibling, the Jupiter 110 just a while ago and that is expected to be the basis for the styling upgrades for this, more potent model. As for the pricing, expect a little higher sticker price with the updates all reeled in.
