Royal Enfield has recently launched its reborn Classic 350 and is expected to add another 350cc model to its lineup. Royal Enfield has been continuously working on a new range of motorcycles to be launched soon like the 350cc Scrambler, Himalayan based road-focus bike and one more 650cc cruiser bike.
According to the media reports, the next addition to the RE family could be a new 350cc motorcycle which might be named as Hunter. A lot of spy images are already rotating over the web creating a hype of the next big launch from Royal Enfield.
Royal Enfield has introduced a new J platform with its new generation Classic 350 and Meteor 350. The upcoming Hunter 350 will also be built on the same platform. This new platform has a new architecture that claims to be designed for straight-line stability and cornering with full comfort.
As seen from the leaked spy shots, the bike does not look similar to the Meteor 350 in fact the new motorcycle offers a teardrop shaped fuel tank, shorter front and rear fenders, no split-seat, circular taillamp and a backrest for the pillion.
RE has equipped a new double-cradle frame which makes the bike more stronger and stiffer. The new Hunter looks like a retro roadster with those chrome bezels on its headlights and short mudguard at front.
The bike is also equipped with flattered handlebars, fork gaiters, unswept exhaust, engine sump guard, and center aligned footpegs for a better ride experience. Royal Enfield carries forward some of the features from its Meteor like the semi-digital console with an analogue speedometer. The motorcycle yet to be launched, might miss on the tripper navigation system.

According to the reports, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will come equipped with the same engine that is found on the Meteor. So, what we're talking of here is an OHC, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that outputs a maximum power of 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. The motor will come mated to a 6-speed transmission. The new RE 350cc bike could be equipped with the 370mm front and 270mm rear disc brakes along with the standard dual-channel ABS system. Its suspension system might include telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
