The Tata Curvv is a new SUV that will come in both electric (EV) and traditional (ICE) versions. The brand has shared information about the engine in the non-electric version. The Curvv's traditional version will have a 1.5-liter diesel engine, generating 113 bhp of power and 260 Nm of peak torque. This engine is the same one found in the current Nexon model.

If Tata Motors maintains the transmission choices from the Nexon, the Curvv Diesel is expected to be paired with both a manual and automatic (AT) gearbox.
