For starters, the Hero Splendor continues to lead the maximum sales figures in the Indian market but did see a slight drop in the total sales figures in India. The brand sold 2,25,382 units of the Splendor in Jan 2021 as against the 2,08,263 units in Jan 2022. The Honda CB Shine was the second best selling bike in January 2022 and the brand sold around 1,05,159 units in the market. When compared to the 2021 sales, the total bikes sold in Jan 2022 are down by about 9.5 per cent. The Honda HF Deluxe too saw a major decline in sales in Jan 2022 when compared to the same month of the previous year. The brand only managed to sell 85,926 units in Jan 2022 while it sold 1,34,860 units in Jan 2021.

While the Bajaj Pulsar saw a major decline in demand, it is the Bajaj Platina that is now gaining popularity and brought in a total sales volume of 46,492 units in Jan 2022. Only 27,131 units of the Bajaj Pulsar were sold in the market in Jan 2021.
