Design

kawasaki z900

The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 comes with an updated design language. At first, you'll notice the revamped headlamp and taillamps setup along with better styling cues on the fuel tank. Moving further, you'll notice a triple paint scheme with this iteration. It comes with two new colour options: Metallic Carbon Gray-Metallic Graphite Gray-Candy Persimmon Red, and Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray-Metallic Flat Spark Black-Candy Flat Blazed Green. While the bones of the Z900 remain unchanged, it rides on the same trellis frame.

Powertrain And Hardware

At the heart, it still carries forward the same 948cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine, which belts out 123.6 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. However, this engine comes paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox along with a slip and assist clutch. Coming to the hardware, replacing the axial callipers, now got radially mounted 4-piston Nissin callipers mated to 300mm dual discs at the front. Moreover, the tyres have also been changed, and have got the new Dunlop Sportmax Q5A, ditching the old Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2. It might improve the performance.

Features

With the update, the Z900 boasts a new 5-inch TFT display along with better switchgear and smartphone connectivity. Some of the other features include a bi-directional quick shifter, dual-channel ABS, turn-by-turn navigation, voice command and customizable display modes. Additionally, a 5-axis IMU complements all the bikes riding aids, such as power modes, riding modes, traction control and dual-channel ABS.

Pricing

The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 is available at a price tag of Rs 9.52 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it rivals with Honda CB650R, Triumph Street Triple R and the Ducati Monster.

Verdict

The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 is not a radical overhaul, and thats a good thing. Kawasaki has smartly refined an already well-balanced streetfighter with thoughtful updates in design, electronics, and braking hardware. It still delivers the raw, high-revving inline-4 thrill it's known for, now with more polish and practicality. At Rs 9.52 lakh (ex-showroom), it remains one of the most value-packed big bikes in its class, sleeker, smarter, and just as savage.
