Despite a prolonged period of limited updates on this mysterious new model, a recent online spy shot has finally surfaced, capturing the test mule navigating the streets of Bengaluru. The Ather EV prototype showcases a sleek front apron and side panels, maintaining a clean and understated look with minimal cuts or folds. Several design elements suggest that it aims for a family-friendly appeal, leaning towards a more conventional design. The LED headlight is neatly integrated into the front panel in a horizontal layout, and this seamless design extends to the taillight on the side panel. Additionally, the mirrors, noticeably larger and distinct from Ather's current scooter models, contribute to the overall unique aesthetics of the vehicle.

The upcoming electric vehicle showcases a broader and longer seat, complemented by a subtly styled single-piece grab-rail. Notably, the spacious floorboard area surpasses that of the current 450X model. Adding convenience, there's a foldable pillion footrest on the left side. The left profile image unveils a covered belt drive system, maintaining the existing design.

For a budget-friendly approach, the new electric scooter might adopt the 450S Deep View display. With LED lighting, we anticipate the inclusion of ride modes and various on-screen information like Speed, Battery level, Odometer, Trip odometer, and Turn signal status. Moreover, seamless smartphone connectivity is also on the feature list.

Looking at the engine and battery aspects, it seems likely that the new model might share components with the 450X. All three models share a top speed of 90kmph. Given the typical daily riding conditions and range needs of an average user, these numbers should be sufficient and could be incorporated into the upcoming Ather electric scooter.
