Yamaha FZ-X India Launch on June 18 - All We Know So Far [Exhaust Note Video]

Yamaha Motor India has finally announced that the India launch of the new Yamaha FZ-X will take place on June 18, 2021. The all-new Yamaha FZ-X is a highly-anticipated motorcycle in India and it will be a big launch from the company after a really long time. Yamaha FZ-X - All We Know So Far

Looks and Design - The production-spec version of the Yamaha FZ-X was recently spied during its TVC shoot near Atal Tunnel in Himachal Pradesh. It gets a circular all-LED headlamp with a round-shaped LED DRL. There are fork cover gaiters, a metallic front mudguard, engine bash plate and more. The new Yamaha FZ-X will most likely get a matte finish on the body panels and a fully blacked-out treatment on other parts of the motorcycle.

Engine Specification - The new Yamaha FZ-X will share its mechanicals with the Yamaha FZ-S. So, this retro motorcycle will be powered by a BS6 compliant 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 motor might churn out 12.4 PS of power at 7250 RPM and 13.6 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM in the FZ-X. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. You can also listen to its exhaust note in the video below.

Hardware Bits - The new Yamaha FZ-X will measure 2020 mm x 785 mm x 1115 mm in terms of dimension. For braking duties, it will get disc brakes at either end with a single-channel ABS. The suspension duties on FZ-X will be performed by telescopic front forks and a mono-shock absorber at the rear.

Launch Date - Yamaha Motor India has now finally announced that the India launch of the all-new Yamaha FZ-X will take place on June 18, 2021.

Price and Rivals - The new Yamaha FZ-X is expected to be priced in India from Rs 1.15 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. This new retro cruiser motorcycle will directly rival the Hero Xpulse 200 though it won't be an off-road bike.
